CAPRINA ATHRITIS ENCEPHALITIS ACCREDITED GOATS
A separate designated area will be provided for entries from the Ministry C.A.E. Accredited herds. Please bring certification of above to the Show and hand to the Section Steward.
As well as the Milker, Goatling and Female Kid classes there will be a Young Handler’s Competition – one class for a child under 12 years of age and another class for a child aged 12 and over but under 16 years of age. turn-out of exhibit and handler and ring performance will be judged, not the confirmation of the goat. Exhibitor will be asked to leave the ring if animal is considered unsafe for the young handler.
This year we are introducing pygmy goat classes. This is something we are hoping to develop further over the next couple of years in association with the Pygmy Goat Club, but only if the number of competitors dictate.
